When patients sign up, they choose a username and password. They also choose a different username and password that they will give to physicians called the "Visiting Physician" username and password.

Physicians will only be able to access a patient's record if the patient has given them the Visiting Physician Username and Password.

With the appropriate login, both patients and physicians can login directly from the YourMedChart.com homepage.

At the patient record homepage, a great deal of information is available. On the top right, there is a link to the patient's profile. This profile contains the patient's existing medical conditions, allergies, past medical history, past surgical history, family history and social history. When patients login, they are able to edit their profile. When Visiting Physicians login, they cannot change the patient's profile or alter the record in anyway.

On the left toolbar, is a listing of:

2. Studies/Tests
3. Images
4. Pathology
5. Procedure
6. Discharge Summaries
7. Immunizations

Whenever information is submitted to YourMedChart.com, physicians and health professionals at YourMedChart Headquarters organize the reports into the appropriate categories. This presents the information quickly and professionally to physicians in the manner common in clinical practice.
